can someone tell me if a 67 rs camaro came with a 8.5 10 bolt with multi leaf springs and and 308 gears thats whats under mine and I can't locate any code or # on it to fine out. thank

No, it didn't come with an 8.5" rear end of any kind. It's most likely a rear end out of a 70's Nova or sister car.

thanks I did't think so do you know if the 8.5 is an ok rear end for street use 700r tran and new 383 400 hp or should I look into somthing else thanks

An 8.5" rear end will serve you just fine.

Are you sure it is a 10-bolt 8.5 ? The stock 10-bolt was an 8.2. Here is how to tell.
