I've got a car in here at work, not my 67 but a 68. The owner has a turbo 350 trans with an aftermarket hurst shifter. He wants us to install a stock shifter and console in the car. Two things I wanted to ask on here,,,1) any way to get around the 2 speed shifter with a 3 speed trans? does anyone make an aftermarket shift indicator and pattern or is he stuck with no manual low gear?? and 2) the hurst had the nuetral safety and reverse light switch in the shifter.. did the powerglide that came in this car have those on the transmission? and how can I get back up lights and have the N/S switch work with the stock shifter and this trans?? My 67 has an aftermarket shifter so I'm not sure how to hook this one up with the stock shifter?? thanks a bunch,, Jeff

The facory 68 & 69 Horse shoe shifters have the reverse lights and neutral safety switchs on the shifter. 68 Big block cars with a Turbo 400 and any 69 with a 3 speed auto on the floor with have the clear shift pattern lens. It is a easy swap and available at most Camaro parts suppliers.

The T350 will work perfectly with a PG shifter. Just change the indicator lens.
