Does anyone know what would be the proper shade of black for my 69 dash? I had it painted but it scratches real easy so I am looking for an enamel in a spray can. Thanks

rust-oleum makes a black fine textured spray bomb that is very close to the original finish. it is very durable and looks good. 7220 black is the can #.

I had heard that there is one spray you don't want to use but I can't remember what it is. I heard it was Krylon (because it lifts ,peels, or bubbles) but can't find any info on it on this site. Anyone have any knowledge of this?
