ok, still checking things out and making sure everything is ok on the camaro. found a leak coming from the tranny. raised it in found that it was coming from the inspection cover, it thats what you call the thing where the shifter forks go in. as im about to drop the tranny, i tilt it to one side and oil is pouring out of the small hole where there is supposed to be press in pin. i pull the tranny and open the cover and the pin is sittin stuck on the magent(lucky me). this pin holds the to prongs for the ident levers. i tap it back in place and put the tranny back in. im hoping it stays. my concern is that if it will happen again. i still havent gone on a long ride. im still looking for bugs and hopefully i dont find toomuch more.
