Hello folks, I'm new to this board, and I'm having trouble finding a definitive answer about swapping out the lame 305 i have in my 89 RS for the stout 350 I've built (for the 65 nova, but she will probably end up seeing a big block). The 305 is TBI, and obviously the 350 would be a carb motor. The big issue seems to be fuel delivery. I'm seeing mixed feelings about running a pressure regulator to lower the pressure to the carb-friendly range. The other option would be to install a different pickup in the tank in place of the in-tank pump? Where do i find this? Could I get one from a junkyard off a factory-carb donor? Also, my car is a convertible (I know that makes a difference in the size of the tank, so I thought i should make that known) I would like to do this once the right way and not have to worry about it down the road. If there are any other issues that people have run into while doing this swap, please let me know about those, and if there is a link to a great post on how to do the whole thing that i missed, please direct me to that. And no, we're not going to worry about the smog police...Thanks everyone....

I read an article about this a while ago,
You can replace with carb pickup from older carbed f body or even use a section of hose.Holly electric inline pump woul work
Also a 3 port, return style AFPR inline before the carb would work
132-171021 or MAA-4309
More than likely you will have to redo the throttle linkage as well
