I have a Nitrous Mastermind. Part of the things it is intended to do is to act as a rev limiter. I tested this feature at 1k, 2k, 3k RPM and it did exactly what I expected. I then set it to 6k RPM. The shift light on the unit came on at the same time as my tach shift light, but the revs just kept climbing.

The question is if someone else has experienced this behavior, what might cause it and what they did about it.
