I am trying to figure out the placement of the hodd pins for the fiberglass hood locks. I know they will go through the rad support but I don't know how wide they should be placed apart.
Anyone know about this?

I put mine halfway from edge to rib in center of hood.

These both seem so close together. I am running to my paint guy tomorrow to check out the progress and place them. Any other pictures out there?

Hi... I also have a 1967 clone.I put the pins out further only because the outer edges seem to wing up.Just check your hood in case.

I used some existing holes that are in the rad support right next to where the brace bolts on. Looks good to me. After looking again it is the same place that HawaiianCamaro used.

I set mine up about 7" in from the sides of the hood. Approx where the small stripe is on the car in previous post. Keeps the corners tucked in when zipping down the freeway since they seem to want to float.
