My original b.b. z bar either was broke ,or cut and modified for exhaust or ? Either way it was rewelded I bought a repop ond and there is a differance in the degree of offset between the arms the repop has a 56* offset & the original one has a 44.5* offset neither one is probably right .Can any one check the degree of offset on a original on for me? just lay it on the bench ,kitchen counter or whatever zero your level out (digital would be nice but not needed) then put itr on the other arm. Or if anyone has a spare let me know. Thanks Team Camaro.

Sorry, it's a 68 maybe a better way to measure is to lay the B.B. z bar on a flat surface & measure the hight to the hole on the arm that goes to the rod attaching to the clutch pedal.

I hope this helps if not, when i get back later today ill try to take some measurements with it installed. This is for first gen Camaros.....

Thats exactly how mine looks. I do know that the 1970s and up have a bend in the bar its self. Other then that when i get back i can take pics or try to measure with it still in the car. There not that expensive if you wanted to buy a new one.

Here are some small block Z bars, I think they are the same angles as a BB.

James good job and your right the BB is the same angle but shorter in length.
