I'm converting to power steering from manual, I need to know which connection is the pressure side, the small one closest to the input shaft or the larger one away from the input shaft so I can get some hoses built. Any help or pictures even would be appreciated.

The one away from the shaft, nearest the engine is the pressure IN port. Usually there is a check valve flap down inside that port.
