So I was under the impression that 1968 camaros came with 5x 4 3/4" bolt patterns. I had my wheel off today measuring the back drums and sure enough - it seems I have 5x4 1/2" patterns. What gives? I wonder if a previous owner has swapped it out. I didn't remove the front wheel, but it seemed to have 4 1/2" patterns as well. Is this normal?

Oh and I forgot to add, just for fun I put my 1999 Trans Am spare on there, and it fit fine.

Never mind. I am a complete tool. I was measuring from the center of one stud to the center of the other. Trans Ams have 120.65 mm patterns according to the web, which is 4.75 inches exactly. So I was like, maybe it is me who is on the drugs.
However, thumbing through my Summit book I see that 5 lug wheels are measured from the "back of one stud to the center of the third stud."

You are fine here b/c I had Moser's redrill and tap ALL my stuff to the Ford, 5 x 4.5" B/C and 1/2" stud size so I can understand you miss-measuring her!

He, He!!

My '67 car now has Pony-car "Bullitt" rims on her b/c, imho, they are just about the greatest looking retro rim ever made and since GM has NEVER retro'd any rim worth a sh-t, I went w/ them!!

I would have bought GM Verda "Bullit" re-pop's but I bought my Bullitts from Summit for like $600/set of 4 before I knew Verda existed.
