Do you have the date code from the block? It's cast into the block at the top rear of the block, next to where the bell housing bolts in. Second question -- are there any codes visible on the pad at the front of the engine? They are stamped onto the pad on the passenger side of the block in front of where the head would mount. If there aren't any numbers there, look in the casting area above where the oil filter is mounted, they will be stamped numbers (there may not be any there).
