What is the difference between the Comp Cam Roller Retro-fit Lifter part # 853-16 and 885-16. All they say on the web site is 885-16 are premium, so what set them apart from the 853-16.

the pro-mag are for higher lift applications "anti-pump" to handle higher spring pressure

The 853-16 High Energy roller lifters are a standard high performance lifter which requires a 1/4 turn preload.
