my 96 z28 at wide open throttle is not up shifting. its like it is hitting the rev limiter. shifts fine any other time just not when fully accelerated. also throwing code for mass air circuit. changed maf sensor still throwing code. please help

Tranny shift problem could be a mis-adjusted kickdown, special name for it...oh...itll come to me later. TV Cable? If its to tight it ont shift the 4L60E at wide open throttle.

Maf sensor code...Hmmm...You got me there... Search it on google. Always worked for me.

My tranny wasn't shifting right a while ago, ('94 fullsize Blazer 350) and it was a tps sensor.

It was giving incorrect voltage readings and the tranny thought the throttle was at one place and it really was somewere else. Messed-up the shift points.

Cant say that's ur deal, but you would be surprised at what can happen with them sensors!
