I have a chance to buy a 69 camaro, but i have to move quick. It is a prostreet, full rear tub, coil overs, dana rear w/ 488 gear, 327 faily stock, 4 spd saginaw. Body is fair, no major rot, but it does have a lot of bubbles. No interior, racing buckets with 5 pt harnesses. drum brake, dash is gone, has aluminum made dash. floors are original and good, fuel cell in trunk, nice wheels/tires. Has title, have not checked partial vins yet, vin plate is gone. It is tagged and street legal where i live, God loves Tennessee. He is asking 6k, can probably get it close to 5k. I would never try to put i back on the street, was going to build a more radical motor for my stock 69, but for the same amount i can get this whole car, leave mine stock, and just take this car out and launch it. Bugs me about the vin, but it has a clear title and if the vins match i can just get a new title number issued. Fun car for the money. Any opinions? Need to move quick.

Sounds like a decent buy to me.If the hidden vin matches I say go for it.A nice car to cruise and a race car to have fun in and not worry about so much. The best of both worlds.

I agree! The the hidden VIN does not match, don't buy it.

Well, hidden vin matched, factory v8 car, has sheet metal over cowl area, going to look for tag tommorrow. Motor is a 1965 327/275, saginaw 4 spd, with z gate shifter, dana 60 4:88 gear. Should be good car for the money.
