That's a homemade car. I saw it years ago when a guy in NY had it. (before the crash)

Someone painted it to look like the 1967 Motion Camaro drag car

here is a picture from 1967 of the real 67 Motion house drag car

The real car was a National record holder and ran in M/P with 427 power

I found the guy who bought it from Motion but the trail went cold after that

Joe,That car was last seen in CT.It was in a old Street Machine magazine I have.I think I sent you a copy. Got a VCR tape of it thru the owner in the magazine issue.It amazes me someone in Pittsburgh is trying to pass this off as it possibly being the car,what a joke! Dan

I had it already and had been trying to find the 67 Motion race car before but the info from the guy who bought it from Motion leads me to believe it was not the same car as in the article. The article did say it was a restored Motion race car but I think it was a different car. If the info I had dug up on the 2 cars is correct, they could not have been the same car.

getting back to the 68 thats on Craigslist

I found pictures of it when it was on an insurance co. auction web site awile back

In my opinion, I would say it's pretty much "busted" as being a real Motion car

If the insurance co was selling it I would assume it has a salvage title ?

The vendor in Florida that did it admitted it was a clone when it was for sale a few years ago.I believe it was a 6cyl. car too? Joel has the vin # on the 67 and this car doesn't have the vin.
