Can someone help me out, I need to get the clip that holds the shifter cable to the trans bracket. Its not the bolt on bracket but the one thats permanently attached to the trans, that the very end of the shifter cable attaches to. It has like a stud that the end of the cable goes over, then something keeps it there. I need that something.
A pic or part name that I could look up would help
Thanks John
btw: its a th350 trans with a console shifter

It's just a small "E" clip if memory serves me and looks like this...

You should be able to find them at any parts store...
The other possibility is a simple cotter pin (also available at any parts store) if the shaft has a hole in it...

This may be more accurate than a cotter pin...

Those are to hold the cable to the brackets on the shifter and pan bracket. These http://www.rickscamaros.com/product.asp?pf%5Fid=RC%2D138&dept%5Fid=3519 hold the cable ends onto the shifter and trans selector lever.
