Can someone please help me asap!!!! I have a 1997 Camaro with a bit of an attitude. My wife took the car to the gas station turned it off and turned the ignition to acc to keep radio playing for people in car. When she come back out to start it would not do a thing no click no nothing. I took the starter off and had it checked and it checks out as being good. I have juice to the stater have good battery all lights work but the security light is flashing on the instrument panel. Tried the other key and it does not work either. Please help!!!

sounds like the anti theft (VATS) ignition. The lock cylinder has wires that connect to the chip (resistor) in the key and these wires can break causing what you describe.

Do a Google search for "Vats Bypass". (or search here at TC) Hours of reading on how to bypass the security of a GM. It is VERY simple to do!.....Jb
