Hello all. I am new to the site, but not new to camaro's. I built my first numbers matching '71 Z28 with the R/S option. Being young & dumb- I wrecked it. 15 years later, I am now in the process of thoroughly making a custom clone of that ride from a '73.
I just dissassembled the front sub frame and all, and looking to rebuild the front suspension components. I have looked into Global West, Energy Suspensions, and PST. I do not need top of the line stuff, but I know there are better products out there than OEM stuff. Any thoughts and or suggestions are welcome.
I also need to tie the frame- bolt on or weld on?

One word HOTCHKIS!

A TVS kit is a matched system, takes care of the front and the rear, ride good and handles great. Other systems handle great but ride like doo doo.

We stock the TVS stuff if you so decide.

I don't know if this is more than what you want to spend but it's another option. http://detroitspeed.com/productpages/subframe2ndgen.htm
