Okay, so i have a standard LT1 with nothing added to it but a cool air intake as of right now. I got the coolant light on and when i tried to try and drain it to flush it, but i couldnt find out where the drain valve was. I tried looking it up on the web, but really couldnt find what i needed. So my questions are:

1) Where is the drain valve (not the air bleed valves)
and
2)For the moment, if say a gallon of coolant in the radiator will it be fine driving it to and from work and school until i get it flushed out?

Thank you.

the drain valve will be a white plastic valve somewhere on the bottom of one of the radiator tanks- but if you can't find it, then just pull the lower radiator hose off (engine cool and shut off) and get out of the way. just don't let your neighbors see you doing this..
and, yes, just adding coolant will allow you to drive it. just make sure you properly mix it, and try to figure out where the coolant went in the first place. antifreeze doesn't just disappear- it is leaking somewhere.
