Looked over the forum and looks like the magic size for a 69 is a 8" x 4.75 BS for the front and 9.5 x 5.5 BS for the rear. Does this go for both 17" and 18" rims? My car has new springs and sets up some and wanted a little taller tire than the 275x40x17. Thought I would go with 275x40x18. About an inch taller. Any thoughts? And I understand all cars are differedt, but I am not against a little triming if needed. Just don't want to take the sawsall to the fender! Ha! Thanks

Call Tire Rack and talk with a tech person there and see what they might suggest. I am running the 275/40/17 though. They might have a little narrower but taller tire that will fit on those rims.
