its a 1967 Camaro. It has a 350 4 bolt main motor with world sportsman heads (2.02/1.6 valves and 200cc intake ports), larger cam, long tube headers with 02 bungs welded in for an 02 sensor, weiand 671 supercharger blower kit with dual edelbrock 600 cfm carbs. Carbs have been modded with larger jets/metering rods, larger fuel discharge nozzles, and high flow needles/seats, enderle roller throttle linkage, and have a polished aluminum carb bonnet. There is a mallory unilite distributor which has been recurved for the blower, 8mm spark plug wires, and an accel high volt super coil. It has Holley electric pump with holley regulator, extra electric pusher fan, autometer fuel and boost gauges. Black interior is in very good shape, original center console car, SFI 6" harmonic balancer, 3.73 rear gear with a posi carrier, subframe connectors, traction bars, air shocks, Borg Warner aluminum case Super t-10 trans out of a corvette(one of GM's strongest manual transmissions) with a hurst shifter (the shifter could use some adjustment, and there is some clutch chatter when taking off in 1st gear). The car was restored and had the rear quarters, rockers, and taillight panel replaced, but it was good work done by a body shop and has no rust now except for a little bubbling in the front lower corners of the doors, but its not through the paint. The car is not perfect and could use some fine tuning on the carbs, but I drive it everyday the weather is nice(motor always fires instantly and has been reliable for me)

I have it up for 15,900 and i'm not even getting any calls on it! I can't believe how much of a hit these took.

You'd probably have a lot more action without the blower and wheel/tire's. A car like that doesn't appeal to most people looking to spend 15k on a cruiser. Lose the blower, add a cowl hood , add rally wheels and I bet you'll get some interest.

JMO of course............

A couple questions, how long have you been trying to sell the car? And where have you listed it? I see it's been listed in the TC classifieds for a week and 2 weekends, Have you tried craigslist.com?

I don't think your car is over priced but I do think your car sends mixed messages. The car looks stock but has a blower sticking out of the hood and that is going to intimidate a lot of buyers in the under $20k price range. Then as solid and nice a car as it is, the guys looking for a blower car are scratching their heads wondering where the cage is and why the rear isn't tubbed... See where I am coming from? The car has been your hotrod and you've done the things you have and there is nothing wrong with the things you have done to the car. Your car just falls into one of those places where it may take longer for the right guy to come along. I think you will have more luck getting the car out where people can see it in person and talk to you directly as opposed to seeing a picture and drawing a conclusion and moving on. Hope that makes sense and helps some...

I believe if you put a set of the more popular rims on your car it will help. I'm in philly, I believe I could sell it for around 18k+ with new rims and a few other minor things. Car sounds very good.

I agree with Dennis. It's not the price, that is more than fair. It's just not a "collector-appeal" kinda car, and not a m"mass-appeal" hot rod, either.

It will sell, for what you want, it'll just take some pateince to hook up with the right buyer.

I agree with what others have said, even if you just lost the blower I bet you would get calls on it. It is a good deal as it is, it just strattles lines.

Or be patient and I am sure you will find someone who likes the blower and sees it as the great car/deal that it is. With the economy the way it is right now selling a hotrod can take a bit longer.

I agree with Bob... especially with the blower.

I remember in the spring when the car was first put up here on the classifieds, I inquired about the car, and said the same thing-- I would definitely be interested in purchasing without the blower setup.

I would pull the blower and install a cowl hood. Sell the blower / car separately and I think you will come out ahead .

I say leave the blower, its the wrong time of year to sell it season almost over. Put some rims on it.

Just what the others have said, ditch the blower and it will sell.

It seems the only cars selling now are the ones that are priced very very well. Either change the car around as others have said or drop the price to $13,000 Firm and it will sell. I know it sucks to take a hit like that, but it might be worth taking $2K less to avoid the hassle.

Yes, ditto.... Loose the blower setup, replace the hood, please please replace those rims and that car should sell especically a 4-speed car.
