I found a set of 781's that need a valve job. He said they would clean up with a valve job and won't need new valves. The guy wants $250 for them. What are they worth?

I have a set of 627292 you can have for $75 if you come get them. They are the large oval ports. just need to be cleaned up- a valve job would probably be a good idea. I can also get you new parts(valves,springs,etc) for good prices. Throw in a 454 steel crank for another $25-it has 2 small cracks on one journal where it meets the counterweight.

Thats a little on the high side. I've seen 781's and 049's for in the $150 range. Asking $250............. Offer him $150 :thumbsup:

Well I offered him $150 and he said no way so I gave him $250 for them.
