If I put adjustable coil overs, I think thats what there called, and adjust them to lower the rear of the car, I just want to get an inch or two lower. Any suggestions:beers:

You gotta be a little more specific.

What year.

Front or Rear.

Is it a show car, street car or race car.

Stock suspension or after market.

Also i don't think they will lower the car, because the leaf spring is what the weight of the car sets on. But i hear allot of good thing with the coil overs, may be after you lower the car, by either new lowering leafs or lowering blocks.

The man to talk to is... DjD Dennis he has the coil overs on his 69.

Sorry...rear suspension lowering objective
69 with stock suspension, new rear leafs, and I put 1 1/2 and 2' lowering blocks and it makes the tire rub on drivers side. So we pulled the 2 put in 1.5 and worked until I moved the car so it settled again on tire. Its a show car so it dont go too far. So I wondered if I did the shocks if I could lower each side a little

Dose it sit as low or lower then this pic. Also i went with the Hotchkis 1.5 lowering leafs for the rears, and the 2" lowering springs for the fronts with soft KYBs shocks. It rides ridged but handles awesome. The blocks you should do with out, and get a set of lower leafs in my opinion.

My 69 sits way up. I bought them from ricks the 5 leaf, that was before I really got into this, I like how this one sits. I just want it level looking. With the blocks it looked killer, but I agreed and removed them.

I dont think the coil overs are going to help you lower the car. Can you post a pic.

I do not know how to post pics to the thread. I bought my current springs about a year and a half ago. Their brand new, barely used on the road, I only have 244 miles in 3 years of build.
