Finally got my remote mount relay installed since my car wasn't cranking after it got hott. And went out for a spin tonite . Car was running really good with the cool air so I decided to let her rip. I reved ti to about 3000 and dropped the clutch only to hear a loud clanking noise from the rear and then the car proceded to go up and down on pass side rear. Basically I have broke a axle i'm guessing either at the hub or the spline. When pushing the car into the garage tonite I noticed the pass rear wheel was going up and diwn when it would pop in the housing and move forward at the same time. So guys what ya think happen?

Well this morning I pull the cap off the wheel and 4 lug nuts with whats was left of the studs fell out. So basically I shredded 4 studs last night. They were stock type studs. If I wasn't gonna sell the car I would have went back with ARP. Rear end is a 12 bolt posi 373 gear. Car has 18" wheels and BFG KD street tires. This is the craziest thing that it done this last night. I simply just dropped the clutch and whamo! I had to pull the axle on the dr side anyway cause the seal was leaking all in all it wasn't that bad butthe situation could have beeen a lot worrse if this happen say around 55 mph..

I would pull the cover and flush it just for kicks. Not for any real reason really but more for peace of mind.
