: Whats my 69 worth?

I have a 69 camaro that my mother bought new, I have had it since I was 16. It is a 327/powerglide, column shift car, a/c, deluxe interior. Last time I had it painted 13-14 years ago, I cloned it as a Z-28, and put 17" centerlines on it. It has sat inside for the last few years, and am about to swap in a LS1-T56, all the LS1 brakes, aftermarket a/c, and get it back on the raod. for the last 10 years it has been insured for 10k, but as I have notived in the last several months, that would not touch it. It has not had the factory drivetrain it for several years, however I still have everything, I also swapped in a correct year 12 bolt years ago also.

Tom thats a very nice solid looking car. What dose the cowl tag say.

Are you planning to sell it or keep it.

Will never sell it! My dad won't even give me the title, so it stays "one owner", and I am 37 years old. It has more sentimental value, than actual value to me. I just was curious what some of you guys thought. I just lost motivation on it several years ago, but have gotten back interested lately. Like I mentioned, I have a complete 98 T?A sitting outside the garage that I need to get parted out and gone, and start swaping into the camaro. This will definitely be low budget, as the wife is already bitchin!

If this continues it might be time to consider a new wife:D. When shopping for the next one find one who's first husband was a cheater, she knows the value of an old car hobby vs another woman hobby. the financial cost may be similar but she can always find you in the garage playing with your toy. (Just my $.02 YMMV)

I'd say it is worth about $16K assuming it runs and drives decent.

Like your first love, you never forget your first car. It's priceless.
I'd get whats called an "agreed upon" policy, and insure it for 25k. Should not be a stretch with the nice looking paint and rims. I personally use mk insurance agency and have agreed upon polices with all of my classic cars.

Tamara is nice and always works with me. I am sure there are others as well.

Good Luck,

It cleans up nice. I think it is worth more than I originally stated. I'm thinking around 19K.
