Cleaning out the storage shed...
I've got original '68 fenders (inner, outer, and extensions for each side) that I need to clear out. I'm not real skilled at body work, so I went with repo pieces. In any case, I plan to put these on Craigslist, not wanting to give away, but not really looking to make a bunch of money...just a fair price, and a good deal for someone out there.
Both have extensive surface rust, pitting head to toe, but still solid. The Drivers side is straight and solid. The Passenger side had a lower rear patch added somewhere in it's past, has 4-5 small holes from someone pulling a dent, and has rust through in spots around the wheel well lip. The inner fenders are solid, other than surface rust around the lips and extensive rust in the front portion.
It's all rusted and abused, but very salvageable with a little work. For a package deal, any ideas on what I should ask?
