Well, it's definitly an A/C car but besides it looking like a 67 that's all I'll guaranty. More than likely not an RS (can't find the piercing in the firewall for the RS loom), probably not an SS either. I'd like to see the TT. He's smart for not showing it.

Pardon me while I shiver from the placement of the emblems..... That he advertises it as an RS/SS kinda irks me.

The hatchet job on the wiring would make me leery of starting it.

The location of the oil line makes me think it's not an original guage car either.

Either he was hoodwinked or he's trying to rook someone out of their coinage. I fear the latter.

I have no idea what it might be worth.

I agree, the placement of those emblems almost made me throw up. I would avoid this car, something smells bad about it. If you have to have it, you should have to look at the car as a plain jane clone with a non matching numbers engine and a sketchy background. You would be buying it for the body which is hopefully not hiding some major bondo work. Check the Trim Tag and get the numbers from the engine, trans and rearend. Also it is missing the reverse lights in the back lower panel, that would make me walk away. I would say with a solid body, clean underneath, good interior and a running engine, maybe 8K - 9K. But you are going to sink 5K into to fixing the reverse lights, the emblems and the engine/drive train and getting rid of those tires and rims. Good luck and be very careful.

Need a clear picture of the tag. I can see the 4P, and that there are plenty of original options if the tag is real and belongs to the car. Can't see if it is a 3L or not.

The interior resto leaves something to be desired. The paint will probably be hard to match if the new owner decides to put the emblems where they belong.

It's at $9,600 now, and that's more than I'd pay.

I like this statement that he makes, "I believe the pictures answer a lot of questions."

The body and paint look pretty good, though white paint can cover over issue. If the body is as good as it looks the car is worth around $13K. I would rather have bad emblem placement than rust or bad paint. Those emblems can be moved and paint can be touched up as needed. The next owner will have to live w/o the RS reverse lights.

I'm curious as to why there are no undercarriage pics, personally
I think the car has been rearended, someone mentioned the lower panel not having the back-up lights,I'm about 90 % sure thats an aftermarket trunk lid from the stamping on the bottom, and the spoiler is higher off the pass 1/4 than the driver's side.I'm not gonna say anything about the emblem thing other than wow!...I mean... wow! You advertise an RS/SS with a...I just dont know what to even say here.

I've been watching this car on ebay too, already up to 15K. So many bidders don't come through, so you never know... I agree that I would have to go over that car closely IN PERSON before laying out 15K....you can do better.

I can tell there is something in the 4 option group but certainly cant say its a P. This car scares me and i vote keep looking.

Manual brakes too although I guess it's possible it came with manual discs. Looks like a real hack job to me with a decent paint job.

I wouldn't buy it...the steering wheel isn't centered and the wheels are pointed straight ahead??...no attention to detail at all and certainly built buy someone with no clue........

Yea, no I wasn't really looking at buying it, I guess I was looking at besides an idiot build, what the heck was going on. I hope nobody is seriously willing to pay over $15,000 for it from the pics anyways.

Man, I've been keeping up with the comments since I posted on here and all I have to say is "man what a tough crowd". yeah there are MANY things wrong but guys come on some people have no clue exactly where an emblem goes or have no clue why the steering wheel is at its 3 o'clock and the wheels are straight. Reminds me of my dad, sometimes you do what you gotta do to get your car on the road. BUT I agree that 15K + is W-A-Y to much for that car.

were all car guys/gals its just some people have more knowledge than others. I use this site to help with my knowledge thats for sure !:D

Robert, yes we are a tough but fair crowd because we take pride in our cars. No one has been mean or disrespectful about the car (Ok, the throw up comment might be a little mean), we are just giving our honest opinions. Plus we try to help other members by pointing out problems that we ourselves have run into in the past. I take pride in my 67 SS/RS vert because it took me a while to find it. And after going thru a lot of cars that were not what they said they were, I tend to be more critical of fake or mislabeled cars. My car is not perfect but I enjoy that I can prove that it is a true 67 SS/SS. A lot of us do what ever it takes to get or keep our cars on the road due to money or time restrictions (or spouse restrictions) but most are upfront about it. This person is selling a car that has some major issues and some less informed individual is going to get screwed process. That just bugs me to no end. I have learned a lot from this site and its members, I just try to help out where I can.

Agreed, this site, as well as the information that CRG and other camaro groups have done has been great. I posted this topic as I was wondering what was going on with this car and try to understand what the person was thinking as they restored the vehicle.

I see your point and agree completely. As I am not a fan of FAKES, in fact i had my SS hood stolen off of my 97 SS Camaro while it sat at my parents house over night one night. They broke my window and opened the hood and stole the hood and airbox . so when I see a 93-97 camaro with an SS hood that is NOT an SS car, I give an UGLY look because that could be my hood on that car that is now painted a different color.

So Fakes can affect us in different ways.

Listing has been ended early by the seller due to a mistake in the listing.....;)

The trim tag is visible in the last pic. Anybody good at transferring it to their computer and enlarging it for detail ??

This car reminds me of the cobbled mess I had a year ago. Paint did look good even up close, but I could peel it off with my thumbnail.
