I am almost finished with my frame off restore of my 69 X66. When I bought the car it had a front spoiler on it. Was this an option for the car or is it wrong? Thanks!

The front spoiler was an option including a rear spoiler. Both were installed together, not individually. They were optionAl on all cars except late Z/28s and pace cars (I think).

X66 does not specify a spoiler which is rpo D80. Depending on production date there would be a D80 next to the X66 on your cowl tag if it were a spoiler car. If it is an earlier production car you would have to look for tell tale signs or have some documentation to prove it.

X66D80 starting about 05D. Does the trunk have the spoiler as well with the heavy upper torsion spring?
