On pro street cars, the quality of the work and the cost of the parts vary drastically from car to car; therefore you can't put a value on one w/o lots of details. It is also very tough to sell a pro street car, so good deals can be found.

Who did the chassis, what kind of chassis leaf ,ladder,4 link. What track locator, what coil overs.Steel interior or aluminum, hows the interior, does he have reciepts. Is it a street car or race.I have about 60k in mine and all my labor which gets lost but I would still want something for it.If you have it 25K to 30k but may go as low as 10k you just have to feel the owner out.

So I am going to look at the car tomorrow. I have never looked at a pro street car any tips on what to look for? he also states This car is fully street legal and can be driven anywhere, or you can swap the blower pullies around to make extra boost and it will run 9 sec. et is this true? Is there anything i should look for on a blower motor? i know the car has a narrowed 9" Ford rear-end from Strange Engineering.

Check all the obvious stuff, and look at the mounting of the rear, check for "clean install" of components, you know.
Your a Sailor, an AME at that. You should know ALL about attention to detail. Basically, thats what its gonna take here.
Ive seen 11 sec cars run 8.90's with a pully swap...when you add boost you add ALOT of pressure obviously. So car would need more than just a "pulley swap". There are some other things that need to be done...GOOD LUCK!!
TAKE PICTURES...LOTS of pictures...:D:D:D

Usually blower motors come with dual carbs but what is the size of that carb. The top pulley looks big like the blower is underdriven. Swap the pulleys and it will make more boost. What kinda boost does it run now? Its a cast blower and not polished and it looks like a older blower. I would say 12K to 20K depending on what kind of suspension and interior. Look at the back half and welds. Is the welding nice or gorilla welds.

........not picking the car apart but.......I see at least 1 item that the car needs to be street legal.......the wipers are not functional without the wiper motor and it's hard to see but I believe it also lacks the horns.

Look at the car closely I see alot of wire ties on fuel lines and on other stuff that is scary to me. Also I think that may be a firebird cowl panel on the car. good luck I hope it works out for you.:beers:
