Anything wrong with this? Seems like an AWESOME deal

Those quarters as mentioned will need replacing. The flare job is definitely a dated look. Having the original block is a definite plus. I would be wondering what is lurking under the vinyl top. I don't know if it is worth the asking price but starting with a running/driving car for restoration is a plus IMO.

There's alot wrong with it. The VIN is 124379N534099 (Nov 68 build) and it's got a November 69 tag on it. So the tag isnt original to the car.

The Block is very suspect because 010 blocks werent even made when this car was built.
Yet it is a Sept 69 block with the VIN of a Nov 68 car stamped. Hmmmm.

I agree something doesn't line up on the tag. My 10E build has a body sequence number of 158756 and a vin of 706979. His tag looks to be the week after mine but the vin sure isn't.

can this be brought to the attention of the seller so no one gets ripped off? this kind of thing really bugs me...

EDIT: that is, assuming the best, that the seller doesn't know.

That's the worst stamping I have seen in quite some time...
