I have an 02 3.8l v6 camaro and it has the stock exhaust system still on and instead of buying an aftermarket exhaust system I decided an electric cutout was the better choice due to neighbors call the cops for everything and I want my car to sound louder but a good sounding loud w/o them calling the cops and with the electric cutout I can shut it off. Anyway, I wanted to put it after the header collector and before the cat but the distance between them two is 11 inches but the cutouts length is 12 inches. What should I do? Is there anyway to make it fit?

If you put the cut-out before the Cat it is likely that you will end up throwing codes. It would be best to put it AFTER the cat...it will still be pretty loud/obnoxious JMO
