Hey everybody!
While I don't have a typical car for this site (1987 Mazda RX7), I do have an typical engine of this forum, the LS1.
I've found a lot of good info here so I figured I'd sign up!
Specs of the car are as follows:
1987 Mazda RX7 Turbo II
Stock 4:10 rear end with limited slip
fully gutted(aside from door panels and "dash" (or whats left of it)
6 point roll bar
Box stock '99 LS1
Mustang 5.0 headers(the only ones that work with this combination of motor/vehicle that don't cost $1 000 000)
M/T slicks 26x10-15
'95 T56
SFI bell housing
Mallory F/I fuel pump
full braided stainless fuel system /w modded stock rails
I still have to get an intermediate plate/input shaft so I can bolt up the trans to my motor, flywheel and a clutch.
Im thinking im going to go with the ls7 setup SDparts.com sells which should be more than adequate since the car should be around 2600 LBS with fuel.
Next is a cam, double roller, melling high volume, and maybe some heads.
Oh, and all before I turn 19....:yes:
