Hey Guys,
I am looking for the deepest most powerful sound i can get on both my 79 and 73 camaros. I currently have dual chambered flowmasters. I hear a pair of single chambered flowmasters on my cousins 5.0 and they sound great except for the mustang part.Is there any louder, deeper, and better performing mufflers. Oh yea I had heard that dynomax ultra flow mufflers were good, but how do they sound?

I don't think you are going to get a more powerful sound than is produced by Flowmaster single chambers....if THEY aren't loud enough for you, nothing short of open headers will be loud enough for you!!!

How "built" your engine is, has an effect on the sound eminating from the exhaust also. Compression ratio, type of cam and spec's, headers, all play into that exhaust note. Is your cousins Mustang stock?

yes, my cousins mustang is pretty much stock. All that it really has is headers.

The more chambers you have on the flowmasters the quiter and deeper it will be.

If your Flowmasters aren"t loud enough,maybe try a pair of Dynomax Race Magnum Bullets.They are louder then 2 chamber Flowmasters,and are intended to be for racing only! But if loud is that important to you,give those a try.The cops will love U.
