Leslie and I did a few car cruises last year that went well and with Oct hopefully cooling off and doing the one last weekend started talking about doing another one.
This is a place holder for the date of Oct 18. All cars are welcome no specific group only stuff. A couple of different reasons for this but the main one is we have friends with all types of cars and this group of great people is diverse with types of cars as any.
We got introduced to the owner of the Blue Ducks IceHouse and he let us in the place and would really enjoy having a car club or group stop by. He has hunters, HD, Jeep, Hummer clubs all the time. We decided to give this place a try instead of the normal tourist Cooper's (apparently they are going corp and going to start franchising according to the police officer). He has cold beer, wine, and some frozen Margs; he has a sand volleyball court, pool tables, shuffle board, Duck Hunt I believe and maybe one or two other bar game machines.
The tentative cruise length out to Llano is about 100 miles and will include Willow City Loop.
Meeting location will be the Y at Oak Hill and time 9:30am with leaving time 10:30am. I will try to find a mid point to stop for bathroom break for the ladies ( Les usually is one that will need to go also). This will put us there around the later part of lunch and when we take off I can give Blue Ducks a call and let them know how many people.
Once I have confirmed the route and driven I will post a few more details about it.
Hope this gives people time to plan.
