The description states that it has "a lifter valley designed for hydraulic and flat tappet camshafts and lifters" which must be a misprint because it doesn't make sense to me.

If you look carefully (and assuming the pictures are correct and accurate and match the part) you can clearly see the bosses for the "spider" bolts on the can tunnel of both blocks.

Not all of the one pc seal blocks can use factory roller lifters, but the one you are looking at certainly can. It is based on the late model production block.

By the way, I think you can get the Dart SHP block for about the same price and it is a 2 pc seal type block.

Thanks Bill, that's something to think about. It would give me room to grow in the future.

We have seen those blocks before and so far I have not seen one with nodular iron caps GOOGLE that and you will see what I am talking about.

I have a 638 casting with splayed billet caps and has not been decked or bored yet and will accept a fuel pump and is set up for a factory roller cam and its been sonic tested all machined and shipped for 1295.00
