well i have a problem. my car was all apart when i bought it. i have looked in the assembly manual. no help. what i need to know is how does the speedometer gauge mount to the bezel? what type screw? is that all just screws? i have searched and can not find anything on this. a picture of the back of a 69 cluster together would be great. i know there is a clip you use back there when you are hooking up the speedo cable. i just dont know how to mount the fuel gauge to the cluster or what screws/bolt to use. also is there a kit that would have all the cluster screws and bolts in it? any help would be great. cant under stand taking a car apart and not keeping every nut bolt screw. at least for referance. thanks ken

Speedo mounting is two shouldered hex head bolts with rubber, fuel is held on by 3 regular nuts, but there is a sandwich of insulators and flat coil assembly that has the 3 electrical prongs between the 2 horizontal studs. sorry, I do not have ay pics.

kevin, i have the fuel already done. it was still in the cluster when i got it. i have redone the cluster like i seen someone do here. but the speedo was out. o.k. i found two silver shouldered bolts but they are a little long. is that because there is suppose to be a rubber like washer between the head of bolt and the back of cluster? that is the one thing i hate about not taking the car apart. thanks ken
