Well I have a 283 punched 30 over. Dual plane intake... headers. But heres the thing. Im doing an engine swap into a z28 it has 3 inch exhaust, and my old car has 2 inch, maybe 2 1/4. I was wondering which one I should put on... Im assuming the smaller one for torque reasons. Also what would be an ideal set up for when I have money... By the way the exhaust is press bent.. it has those crappy ribbs in the corners. Thanks

I'd use the 3", purely for the sake of what a pain in the butt it would be to swap complete exhaust systems.

Put a 2" exhaust back under her and a pair of free flowing short mufflers and it should run and sound fine, imho.. B/c I assume you are still going to run stock manifolds, aren't you??
Otherwise if headers, go with a reducer and go 2.25", imho for the little motor..
It may not be 100 percent optimal, but it should again, do fine..

PS., Ooooh, the little motors AND them "Cop-calling", W/D/T Continental style, perforated inner pipe, GLASSPACKS!!! Perfect!!!
