I replaced the dash top on my 69. I want to make sure i refinish the dash top and the top of the cowl in the right place. I mean where do they break. A picture would be GREAT. I hope this doesnt sound to crazy..:);):thumbsup:

Does wrinkle finish just go on the actual dash top? I mean just to the seam. And body color on the remaining cowl top? THANKS

The dash gets painted the interior color. Not a wrinkle finish. The top of the cowl should the painted the body color.

If you were referring to the suede texture that was the origional dash top finish ( wrinkle as you put it ) it breaks at the windshield.

That looks like a good repair! That is pretty similar to what mine will look like someday!!!!!
