Just went into the garage and noticed a small amount of water on the ground near the radiator. Looked at it, and the fins across the middle seem to have a large buildup of water on them, the inner ones (closest to the motor). Grabbed the hose and no pressure, opened the cap and radiator is low. Upper radiator hose doesn't look like its leaking and most of this is midway on the drivers side of the radiator. Haven't driven her since Saturday....

So, here's the dilemma.... I am hoping I don't have a leak (yah right!) but whats the best way to see if one of the cooling tubes is leaking or something else? Pressure test? Or? and how much pressure should I induce to see if it pukes?

BTW this is a Summit direct fit in my 68, with a 16 lb Summit radiator cap....which has been good so far. I only have probably 50 miles on the car to date.....

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Fill it back up and start the car to see where it is coming from. If it looks like the radiator is leaking, take it to a radiator shop (if the radiator isn't still under warrantee).

Thanks Brian
Did that....no obvious leaks, went out to diner then came home to a puddle, can feel the fins wet up near the 4th cooling tube, but then, ran her for about 20 minutes and still no obvious leak....If I pressure check it, does anyone know what would be too much pressure?

What's the use pressure checking it if you feel wet fins around a cooling tube?.....You have a leaky radiator which either needs to be sent back to Summit or repaired at a radiator shop!

The cap should be a 15 or 15 lb I pressure check my water system to 20lbs

Like Step said, just pressure test it to 20 psi and see where the leak is. Might not be the radiator. If there is no leak, get a new cap.

Well, seems that my leak is at the upper hose. Seals fine when under pressure, no leaks at the cooling tubes, but when it cools down, the upper hose "relaxes" and the clamp gets "loose" allowing water to puke out of the side of the hose onto the fins, very fine mist sent out..... Sat around drinking a couple of beers to find that one out. Now just need to replace the hose......seems to have been a slight cut near the clamp. May have johnny torqued it too much.....
