Hi everyone,
I am new here and I just got my first Camero it is a 1969. My Grandfather Just gave it to me and he has had it in California and drove it every once in a while when he bought it new in 1969. All i know is that it is a 350, drum non-power breaks, automatic. interior is probabley 8/10 but it does need paint. I have a couple of questions, what is it worth? (i am not selling it just for insurance) and I was thinking that I would want disc breaks and power breaks, would doing something like this kill the value? Also does any one know a good shipper? to go from southern Cali to Northeast

Welcome- Great story. I got my car from my grandfather also and car and I are originally from CT. What part of CT are you?
Improving the brakes isn't likely to reduce the value of the car. Tell us more about the car. Color? options? orignal engine?

Welcome from the Beach! Good story and Thank you, Grandfather!
Try moving companies as well. Amtrak? Meaning, have grandfather and car on Amtrak to East Coast then return Grandfather by plane or bus, Grandfather's choice. You pay the fares, of course. It'd be a great trip for him and I'm sure he'd like to see the kids.
