CMQuickcoupe Sep 13th, 08, 09:23 PM Mike its a 67 coupe
HwyStar Joe it looks like it is part of the inner quarter panel that the outer welds to,it goes under the quarter window all the way up to the door jamb, its above the rear interior panels and gets painted and it runs towards the rear window,Thanks
Zulu28 Sep 13th, 08, 10:34 PM I think I know what you are talking about... I have not seen one of these in a repro or anything... The only thing that I can say is that if it is really bad and you can't save it, you may want to convert it to a deluxe interior and cover it up. Some trim packages have that part covered up and I think that they are the deluxe packages... Not to sure about that though... Maybe someone else can shed some light on that part! Best of luck though!
Zulu28 Sep 13th, 08, 10:46 PM You mean these right? Sorry I don't have a better picture, and editing on Photobucket with laptop isn't the easiest!

CMQuickcoupe Sep 14th, 08, 09:45 AM Zulu28,yes those are the pieces I am talking about,I may be able to work with them and fix them but if not I need another option. Thanks for the pics to show what I asm talking about
Zulu28 Sep 14th, 08, 03:57 PM Yeah no problem. I have seem the patch panels for the parts below those, but I think that you night have to find a donor as I do not think that those are available yet without purchasing an entire shell...
CMQuickcoupe Sep 14th, 08, 04:03 PM I will have to see if I can save them then,Thanks for the help.

If they are just "beat up" and not rusted, they are fixable. You can push minor dents out from behind and use filler to blend/smooth it again. I stripped and painted mine, but 1 had a ding in it that I pushed up a little and then filled.

CMQuickcoupe Sep 14th, 08, 04:24 PM yeah yours look good,my pass side has a couple of crinkles in it from having a rearend wreck in the past is all I can guess and then the car was backhalved pretty awfully which I am changing now and these pieces had sheet metal welded to them instead of the rear interior panels and I could not really see the damage until I got all the old stuff out.So I guess I will try to save them after I get my new backhalf welded in and the new quarters put on,Thanks for all the replies guys this is deffinatly a very informative site for any info needed for a beginner like me.
