I purchased a new blower motor and would like to use the fan off of the old motor, but I'm having trouble getting the fan off. Is there a trick to it? I don't want to bend it trying to get it off.

Hose it down with PB Blaster or some other penetrating oil and let it sit for a few. Have someone hold the fan (squirrel cage) while you smack the blower motor shaft with a hammer & punch. Trying to pry them off almost always causes you to need a new fan.
