Not sure if anyone else is interested in this YouTube clip but after doing some research on it, I thought it is an interesting Chevy Vs Mustang battle BC (before Camaro). Features Don Yenko in his special built 1957 Corvette Fuelie and Camaro hero Mark Donohue in a Shelby Mustang.

It’s not much and poor quality but still very cool clip of the 1965 ARRC race at Daytona Speedway (now known as the SCCA Runoffs). Someone commented it looks like the JFK Zapruder’s film.

The first part shows the C/Modified cars including the Jim Hall Chaparrals, the last part of the clip is the A/P and B/P cars.
The 1963-65 Sting Ray and the AC Cobra ran in A/P in same race.

Don Yenko ran his special built 1957 Corvette B/P car (white/blue stripe). He was the 1962-63 B/P National Champion so the 1965 Shelby 350 GT was his archenemy.
The 1965 Shelby 350 GT Mustang was stomping on everyone in 1965. They did very well in B/P winning 5 of 6 SCCA Division Titles.

There were 16 cars in the 1965 B/P Runoff.
10 Shelby GT350s, 3 Sunbeam Tigers, 2 Jags, and one Corvette (Don Yenko's 1957 Fuelie)

(The Tiger was a British car powered by a 260 Ford engine sold in Chrysler showrooms)

Don Yenko finished 3rd with failing brakes (amazing run)

Mark Donahue in the dark color GT 350 qualified 2nd overall. Out qualified all but 1 Cobra then had blown head gasket slow him and then a flat tire. (Mark had an amazing qualifing run)

Jerry Titus won the B/P race in a GT350

So there was 10 Shelby 350 GT Mustangs in the 1965 Runoffs and Yenko in the only B/P Corvette finished 3rd.
This is one reason Don was a favorite son of Chevrolet and later allowed to get his special COPO deals.
