2000 camaro V-6 3800 106k miles

Im driving last night after filling up the tank. Driving on the parkway set the cruise to 60 MPH and enjoying my drive. Out of no where my check gauges light comes on, volts go down into the red zone and oil pressure drops to 0. After checking mirrors real fast to see if there's smoke, nothing. I'm not smoking, so as I pull of the parkway I turn the ignition off, roll down the window to smell if anything is burning. I pull over get out pop the hood and nothing is leaking, no fluids, no smoke. Check engine oil level and its full and clean no pieces of metal on it after 3 dips.

Get back in car turn the key to AC lights are on nice and bright everything looks good but oil pressure still at zero and volts in the red. Tried to start her up and wouldn't kick over. Start up run rough for a few seconds, maybe 2-5 seconds then stall. All the while the oil pressure needle would move up to 20 as she was trying to turn over.

Car ran great all day and during the drive up to the stall out. Any ideas? Just had it inspected last week and passed. I'm thinking a few things. One at first since the oil pressure went to zero fast was crankshaft bearing failure. Fuel pump or oil pick up. Or something electrical maybe even coil.

had similar problem. would stall and had to let the car cool down before it would run smooth. I did 2 things and unsure which fixed it. 1st wrapped fuel line in engine compartment with aluminum foil to dissipate the heat and also changed the fuel filter

As mentioned Fuel Filter or possible Mass Air Flow Sensor.

Maybe water in the fuel? You mentioned you just filled up....I'd change the fuel filter and see if that does it.
