: Curb weight??
CarAteMyMoney Apr 3rd, 04, 08:44 PM What should I expect my '69 to weigh??
It's an automatic, small block car, no console, pretty basic
(not deducting for rust holes LOL)
pdq67 Apr 4th, 04, 05:53 AM A '67 can have a shipping weight down around 3050# or so and I think a '69 is probably around 3200#.
Just a guess b/c it's best to weight each car at a certified truck or grain elevator scales if you have one close by.

railing68 Apr 5th, 04, 08:11 PM weighed my 68 about a month ago and 3360 with the tool box in the trunk, figure 3300, small block, muncie etc full steel body and interior not bad in my opinion. SS
DOUG G Apr 6th, 04, 04:13 PM 68 here too, but would be close? 3420 with me(180lbs.),1/4 tank of gas,4point rollbar,subframe conectors,SBC w/ alum. intake,TH350,steel body,flat hood,no spare,& 3lb. fire extingusher.
Toad Apr 6th, 04, 06:12 PM My 69' weighs in at 3554lbs. with me. So subtract about 175lbs. (I need to workout) and you have 3379lbs. My car has a small block, iron heads, alum int.,TH350, AC, PS, PB, full RS equipment, full int./console, sub frame conn. and about 5gal of gas. All steel all the time, no bling! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
railing68 Apr 6th, 04, 07:55 PM Yeah my car also has sub frame connectors, 4pt, iron heads, steel scattershield. It all adds up. I know the hotchkis 3leafs were lighter than the fives and v45s definitely lighter than steel rally wheels. SS
My '67 weighs about 3200lbs.... that is with almost no gas, PS, PW, Deluxe interior, 305ci, iron heads, alum intake, TH350, 2bbl, and 4 big heavy wheels :D
MY FIRST 69 Apr 24th, 04, 01:44 AM I was trying to get my car down to 3000 lbs. How much do you think it weighs? I have a 69, no heater or ducting, I plan on not having much carpet deadening, aluminum heads, water pump, radiator, intake, muncie, sf connectors, steal body, cowl hood, no radio, and all the gunk scraped off of the body and sub frame. I weigh 200 lbs :D
Eric68 Apr 24th, 04, 03:57 AM My 68 weighs 3340# (without driver)
I have an aluminum head SBC, TH350, 8.2" 10 bolt rear, multi-leaf springs, NO a/c, aluminum rims, aluminum w/p, power steering, brass 3 core radiator, full interior, 6 point mild steel roll bar, subframe connectors, SSM lift bars, all steel body, with a full gas tank.
Drag Fabricator Apr 24th, 04, 07:36 AM 69's are heavier then 67/68, 67 being the lightest of the bunch.
