should the vacuum go to the carb or the intake? I have brakes it just seems it wants to go to the floor at times. Thats the reason for the question, to get more vacuum. So sometimes good pedal sometimes not

So sometimes good pedal sometimes not 68sixspeed Sep 22nd, 08, 07:10 PM Wherever you can get a bigger fitting/hose-- I run off a carb baseplate fine, but it is a decent size fitting; nothing wrong with an intake fitting though if your intake is already tapped for it. Low vac is a hard pedal though, not to the floor. Sounds more like a master cylinder that is not bled properly, bad master cyl, or air in the brake lines. -Dan 400bird Sep 22nd, 08, 10:13 PM If it wants to go to the floor, your problem is not with the vacuum supply or even the booster. You either have air in the system or a bad master cylinder. But to answer your question 68sixspeed is right, both work it is just which ever is easier/cleaner to hook up. |
