Wow, did anyone else see that Copo on Mechum last weekend. It was the one with the aluminum block (?). the auction got to $310,000 and the guy wanted 400,000 I think.

Must be a problem with the car, or the prices have REALLY dropped. ZL-1s were selling for more than twice that, a year or so ago.

Now if it was an L72, I would think $310k is a little high, even a year ago.

Was it a re-run of the auctions that went on in the springtime on HDNet? A real yellow ZL-1 went for $400K, I think during the Spring Classic.

A Daytona Yellow ZL1 sold for $480K May 2008 Mecum according to their web site.

It was the same price as the black 67 Yenko Camaro.

$480K sounded low for a ZL1

Here is a COPO that is listed for auction there also. Cool if it is the real deal which I assume. Would the color make it less desirable? Besides the hood that car is plain, even by plain jane standards. But heck, I like it.
