I've got my 1/4 stick installed pretty close to proper console hieght may need fine tuning,I'm wondering what kind of boot I can use to cover shifter in factory position ? Due to the reverse lever I'm thinking it has to be from a 4 speed or ?:cool:

I've got a Hurst boot that I think fits a 68 muncie shifter, I know it's a rectangular like the 68 boot, rather than oval shaped like the 69. And it has a slot for the shifter handle, rather than a round hole like the 69.

I'll have to look at some pics,69 auto console is rectangular in shape so may have to modify to get a rubber boot to work ?

Manual and auto consoles are very similar. you can purchase the repop parts to convert it.
