First off I am sorry for the huge pics, its my first time posting any of my ride  and I can't get them to resize.

Anyway, I took some measurements today of the front and rear heights to compare with lowered camraro owners. I notice most measure around 12-13 inches from hub to lip. My car meaures b/t 13.25 and 13.75 on the front (1/2 in. lower on the left) or 25.5 inches from lip to ground. Rear is about 14 and 7/8 inch from hub and 27.25 inches from the ground.

Obviously there is a slight rake which is cool but I would like to put some 17 or 18 inch wheels so I would at least like to lower the rear some. Should I lower the front an inch and the rear 3 inches or leave the front alone and lower the rear 2 inches or leave well enough alone.
(Currently she has 215/65R15's and 245/60/R15's)

Thanks Camaros.net, you guys are quickly becoming my one stop for Camaro facts, opinions, stories and ideas.:beers:

First, almost every car will settle differently when you change the suspension. They shouldn't, but they do :). The short version; Imho, I think you should lower the front 1" and the rear 1.5". Keep in mind that even when you lower the front it will have a slight effect on the rear as well. This may leave you with a slight rake still, too.

Another important consideration; do you know if the springs (F&R) are actually stock...been changed...or are original stock? A lot of folks have been surprised with what they ended up with.....when they really didn't know what they were starting with :). In some cases, 1" front drop springs almost sat the car on the ground. In other cases, 1.5" rear drop raised the back by 3"-4"! LOL. Seriously. But not to scare you...just to make you think about it. Your car looks great, and it looks like the "typical" drop specs would work just fine.

I think your stance is pretty close, maybe lose about 1" in the rear so its sits closer to the top of the tire like the front is.

Thats very true, thats why I was thinking about spending a little extra for some qa1 coilovers:beers: for the front to adjust for the uncertianty of trying to get a correct spring to help the stance, I think from there if I were to drop the front about an inch, it would possibly require a 3" drop leaf in the rear (front would be about 24" and the rear would be about 27" before drop)

Great Advice!!

As mentioned make sure of what you have before you start so you know what changes to make to get the desired affect. As for opinion I say drop the 1" and the rear 2" but I don't like the perfectly level stance look. I prefer a little rake.

I think it looks great just the way it is. You see so many cars with 17s or 18s and low profile tires, it's tough to stand out from the crowd without spending a ton of cash.
