I have a 68 Camaro with Non-powered drum brakes. I installed a SSBC( Stainless Steel Brake Corp.) front disk brake conversion. The install is pretty easy except for one issue I'm not sure about. After installing a new power booster the master cylinder sits up and out further from the firewall. Now the stock brake lines are not long enough. If I install the distribution block to the master cylinder the brake lines won't reach the block. If I install the block to the brake lines, the two MC lines won't reach.SSBC instructions expects me to use the stock lines, yet they're not long enough.I also have a adjustable porportioning valve. Where is a decent spot to install that? Who's got some good ideas? Let me know ,Thanks

If you're not concerned with originality (or looks!), and want to save some time, you can lengthen your existing lines with "flare unions" and short pieces of tubing so that they reach. DO NOT use compression unions for this. The adj prop vave should go in the rear brake line. Here is how I did mine. You could also mount it down on the subframe below the driver's seat. I thought it best to keep road grime off of it.

BPOS.... I'm guessing that you didn't want to use the gauge that was sent with the valve.

I didn't do an SSBC brake conversion. I did a C5 front/C4 rear setup. I just bought the valve at a local parts store.
